Closing
Definition 1.
1. The end of a trading session. The closing price is what's quoted in the newspaper. 2. The final procedure in a home sale, documents are signed and recorded. This is the time when the property ownership is transferred.

The finalizing of the sale of a property, as its title is transferred from the seller to the buyer. also called settlement.
