floor trader
Definition 1.
An exchange member who executes orders on the floor for his/her own account. also called a local.

An exchange member who executes transactions from the floor of the exchange exclusively for their own account.

Definition 3.
A stock exchange member who generally trades only for his own account or for an account controlled by him, or who has such a trade made for him. Also referred to as a "local."
