Definition 1.
Breaks down the fund''s net assets by market capitalization. Answers the question: What proportion is invested in big companies, small companies, etc. Giant stocks are defined as those with market caps of more than $25 billion. Large-cap stocks fall between $5 billion and $25 billion. Mid-cap stocks fall between $1 billion and $5 billion. Small-cap stocks fall between $250 million and $1 billion. Micro-cap stocks: less than $250 million.
