National Market Advisory Board
Definition 1.
Group that advises the SEC on establishing a national exchange market system, which is a highly automated, continuous national exchange, but that preserves the regional exchanges.

The board that advises the SEC on creating a national exchange market system. Such a system would have automated continuous auctions and would work with, rather than replace, the existing regional exchange system.
