Definition 1.
ransaction in which the contract is settled the day after the trade is executed. See: Settlement date.

Definition 2.
A transaction in which settlement occurs the day after the trade is made. For most securities-related funds transfers, this was replaced by Same Day Funds Settlement in 1996.
