Definition 1.
The PCX is a major regional exchange with trading floors in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. PCX boasts of being America''s third largest exchange and the world''s third largest stock options exchange. Most trading is in blue-chip issues listed on the New York Stock Exchange, but PCX is especially important as a center of trading in technology options, including options on its own index, the PSE Tech 100. Like the New York Stock Exchange, PCX is an auction market. |
