Periodic payment plan
Definition 1.
Accumulation of capital in a mutual fund by making regular payments on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Definition 2.
The process of making regular contributions, usually monthly, to a mutual fund, portfolio, or investment. Such a plan would generally set a specific initial time period when only contributions, and not withdrawals, are allowed.
