position trader
Definition 1.
Commodities trader who, unlike most traders, takes a long-term, buy and hold approach. In commodities trading, "long-term" refers to holding until the delivery date is close, usually 5-7 months.
Definition 2.
A commodities trader who holds a long position for the long-term.
