dual trading
Definition 1.
The practice by a broker of acting as an agent (buying and selling for customer accounts) and simultaneously acting as a dealer (buying and selling for one's own account). Illegal if certain conditions are not met.

The custom of a trader on the commodities market to deal for its own account and the investor's account at the same time.
