ero-coupon bond
Definition 1.
A bond that locks in a fixed rate of return but does not make any payments to the owner until maturity. "Zero-coupon" refers to the fact that there is no periodic interest (coupon) paid by the bond. Zero-coupon bond values are highly sensitive to interest rate changes.
