Run
Definition 1.
A run consists of a series of bid and offer quotes for different securities or maturities. Dealers give and ask for runs from each other.

Situation in which many customers try to withdrawal their bank deposits simultaneously, and the bank's reserves are not sufficient to cover the withdrawals.
