Stated value
Definition 1.
A monetary worth figure that bears no relation to market value that is assigned, for accounting purposes, to stock for use instead of par value.

Value assigned to a company's no-par stock by its board of directors, for accounting purposes. Bears no relation to market price.

Definition 3.
A value given to a corporation's stock that, for accounting purposes, is assigned instead of par value. Stated value has no relation to market price.
